FURLAN-SNOWBOARDS

Furlan Snowboards is a French snowboard brand that owes its existence to a snowboard enthusiast: Sylvain Furlan. Powder fanatic, he shaped his first snowboard in 1997 at his home in Serre Chevalier. With a total length of 1.93m, this board had the distinctive feature of having pointed tips on both tip and tail, that was never seen before among the snowboarding industry. This innovative (symmetrical) twin shape is based on the shape of a 1.58m snowboard. In action, the board is amazing in powder and literally flies over the snow, like classic swallows. Offering excellent lift in deep snow, this board is just as efficient and fun on the piste. In 1999, Sylvain launched a small artisanal series production. It was not until 2008 that the Furlan Snowboards brand really started with the production of an innovative range of backcountry snowboards, combining freeride and freestyle in a single board.

Today there are several models of boards, some versatile, others specifically for women as well as splitboards.
